Hi there, my name is Melissa, I am a Registered Dietitian and it took me YEARS to find food freedom.

I spent YEARS

Counting calories obsessively, pushing myself to work out at least 6 times a week, no matter how I was feeling, trying to manipulate my body, never able to fully accept it, battling the tension between wanting freedom and feeling trapped by my food rules, putting my dreams on hold while I tried to regain control over food and my body.

It wasn’t until I became pregnant and struggled with severe morning sickness for 9 months that I was forced to let go of my food rules.

There was no way I could eat 5 servings of vegetables a day when all I could keep down were McDonald's fries. I had no choice but to eat whatever I could stomach whenever I could—because it was the only thing my body would allow.

Something clicked.

Life suddenly became so much less stressful without food rules. I realized that by eating what my body truly craved, without fear or restriction, my metabolism began to heal.

The constant stress of dieting and controlling food lifted, and I finally felt free. That freedom was exactly what my body needed to thrive—and I decided never to go back.

Not only did my life not fall apart


I finally learned to reconnect with my intuition and trust my body. By healing my metabolism and releasing the constant cycle of dieting, I broke free from disordered eating for good.

The surprising part? As my metabolism healed and I nourished my body with the foods it craved, every other area of my life started to realign too.
